Tammy founded Wellspring Pregnancy Center in 2003 and opened the doors to the Cadiz Center in December of that year. She is married to Terry & they have three sons and seven grandchildren. Helping infants in need has always been in her heart. She knew God’s call to her to open a pregnancy help center ministry would happen in His time & waiting for His time was most important. God gave Tammy a dream one evening where she & a small group of women were ministering to a mom in need but Tammy kept noticing an infant in the next room standing in a crib and trying to get out of the crib. Nervously she kept watching the baby and all at once the baby started to climb up and over the rail. She raced into the room with her arms outstretched to catch the baby as he fell and instantly woke up. The Lord’s voice spoke and said, “It will be called Wellspring Pregnancy Center, Psalm 84:6”. She knew it was time. Not knowing the scripture, she looked it up.
“Blessed is the one in whose strength is in God: In whose heart are the ways of God. Who, passing through the Valley of Baca (weeping), make it a well. The rain also fills the pools. They go from strength to strength.” Ps. 84:6
Tammy has served as CEO & Director of Wellspring since its inception. The ministry of helping moms-in-need would not be possible without many hearts and hands helping to make it all possible!
Teresa Devlin, Co-Director of Moundsville
Teresa Devlin is one of the Co-Directors at our Moundsville WV Center. Teresa has a special heart for women and children. She has been involved with Wellspring for since opening in 2014 and has now started a new additional journey. She is the Director of Haven Maternity Home which is located behind the Moundsville Wellspring Pregnancy Center. Wellspring has partnered with the Haven Maternity Home to provide assistance to women and children in need. Teresa is blessed and honored to serve in both of these capacities and she looks forward to what the future holds and to build relationships with those that are served.
Cris Jacobs, Co-Director of Moundsville
Cris Jacobs has been a Co-Director at Wellspring Pregnancy Center's Moundsville location since it's opening in 2014. She leads the Earn While You Learn program. She also serves as an elder at the Ash Avenue Church of God in Moundsville, WV and is on the Board of Directors for the Haven Maternity Home. Cris is also the author of a Women's Bible Study book, Women Mentoring Women, which has been a tool for women across the USA. She and husband, Danny, have been married for 50 years and share the joy of two daughters and eight grandchildren. She feels her ability to offer emotional support and assistance to those at their most vulnerable at Wellspring as one of her highest honors.
